Phygital Crafters

Successful Kick-off meeting of the Phygital Crafters project in Madrid

The Kick-Off Meeting of the Phygital Crafters project successfully took place on 23–24 March 2026 in Madrid, Spain, hosted by the project coordinator, Famylias.

Representatives from all partner organisations came together for two productive days of collaboration, strategic planning, and knowledge exchange, marking the official beginning of an exciting journey toward greater inclusion, empowerment, and digital participation for marginalized women across Europe.

During the meeting, partners discussed and agreed upon the practical framework and implementation roadmap for the next phases of the project. Special focus was placed on the finalisation of the Occupational Profile for Micro Sellers, which is being developed based on a comprehensive needs analysis conducted in each participating country.

In addition, partners worked extensively on the development of the Inclusive e-Learning Course, one of the project’s core outputs. The course is specifically designed to support women crafters and micro-sellers in vulnerable situations — including migrants, refugees, and women facing social and economic exclusion — by equipping them with practical digital, entrepreneurial, and marketing skills needed to thrive in the online marketplace.

The meeting also provided an important opportunity for partners to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and align their shared vision for creating accessible, inclusive, and innovative learning opportunities that foster empowerment, employability, and social integration.

The journey of Phygital Crafters has officially begun, and we look forward to sharing the next milestones and achievements of the project.
